The app is:

  • A tool that translates key measures on the California ballot for younger voters.
  • A project that came together in a little over a week. Eight young people picked the props and worked on research, writing, user-experience, and design. Youth Radio Interactive's in-house developer wrote the code.
  • Inspired by one student's pitch: Young people want to have a say in politics, but the props are nearly impossible to understand. We made an app for that.
