A 6-year-old content creator part of a duo with her mom is already headed toward her dream of becoming a YouTuber, garnering the attention of social media users and sponsors alike.

Tiffany Jurado and her mom Joy, otherwise known as tiff.n.joy on TikTok, have more than 600,000 followers and nine million likes on the platform, where they reenact comedic scenes from shows like “Family Guy” in addition to bits from comedians like Jerry Seinfeld. The duo, who has over 2,000 subscribers on YouTube, has also gotten sponsorships from the likes of FeBreeze, Geico and Care Bear.

For kids who want to be creators like her, Jurado offers the following advice: “never give up.”

“Do not give up, enjoy what you do, your mommy and daddy support you,” said the young creative.

Her mom has been really influential in getting the amount of success she has, supporting her from the very first video she attempted to create, Jurado said. That was when she was 3 and would often watch her mom make videos on Muscial.ly before it became TikTok. At a certain point, Jurado wanted to give it a try.

“I wanted to copy mommy,” she said, noting she wanted to create the videos because they are fun. Her first video saw her performing a Cardi B song in addition to dancing. Her mom Joy said Tiffany, who she calls her “protege,” is a natural, always being very observant and learning really quickly.

“She picks up on the instructions really easily; I don’t really need to teach her much,” Joy said. “Let’s say we’ll hear (something) one time, two times, or three times, she’ll pick it up right there and goes ‘I got it, I got it mom,’ then she goes to do it. Maybe a few takes but when we’re recording we’ll just erase it if it’s not good but we don’t take the whole day. I know some take the whole day.``

Jurado doesn’t want to be an actress because show business is “too stressful” but she’d like to be famous due to her YouTube videos, known for her style and comedy.

“She’s a fashionista actually,” the mom said.

Jurado welcomes the support she and her mom have been receiving online.

“It feels nice and I like it when people get to recognize me,” she said. She credits her mom for helping him the most along the way.

“She teaches me how to act and she teaches me how to be funny,” Jurado said, with her mom replying, “yeah, basically I’m the director.”

Joy hopes her daughter continues to pursue her dreams. She thinks parents should support and encourage their children.

“Who knows they can be doing what they want to do in the future or even a little extra here and there,” Joy said.
