Latino-owned network Fuse Media debuted its Gen Z and millennial-focused streaming service, Fuse+ to explore nonbinary identity, immigration and much more.
Through January 2022, Fuse+ will release original series, documentaries and independent films that amplify marginalized voices from communities of color, the LGBTQ+ community and those who are physically challenged.
It’s first release, “Shine True,” aired Tuesday and featured mentors and role models that help nonbinary or trans people explore their inner identity and passion through battling common issues such as body dysmorphia and anxiety.
A November release, “All-Americans,” covers four students in East Los Angeles overcoming their intersectional identities as Latinx Americans immigrants.
Fuse+ will also air shows that focus on cancel culture, Indian identity facets, wealth inequality, the expression of female sexuality and drug incarceration rates, among others.
Fuse+ is available on Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku and Android mobile.
