GOT ONE🌺! Rarely do I collect figures but this one is special! Anna May Wong Barbie was definitely something I wanted! As my daughters get older, I talk about famous Black and Asian women who have pioneered many fields. It’s important they know their cultural roots and power ❤️ pic.twitter.com/akPYnXoITC

Wong’s niece and name-sake, Anna Wong, gave the approval and worked closely with the brand to recreate Anna’s signature look incorporating her sleek bangs, well- manicured nails, and bold red lip. The Doll is dressed in a red gown with a shiny golden dragon, inspired by her role in the 1934 film “Limehouse Blues.”
