Chicago — Chloe Bailey’s debut single “Have Mercy” was not only an instant hit with fans in September 2021, but also HBCU marching bands. Shortly after its release, she visited a couple of HBCUs and students walked and sang the song with her.
Next, Prairie View A&M’s Marching Storm in Texas added it to its performance list. Florida A&M’s Marching 100 followed shortly thereafter.
This year for the #GHOE, that’s the Greatest Homecoming on Earth for those unfamiliar, Chloe joined North Carolina A&T’s band Blue and Gold Marching Machine and Golden Delight on the field and performed the hit song.
