A Hampton University graduate has been creating dolls with an HBCU theme.

Creator Brooke Hart Jones’ toy line consists of three main dolls: Hope, the student body president and legal studies major, Alyssa, the cheer captain and physics major and Nicole, the homecoming Queen and pre-med student, according to WTKR

So far, the brand has partnered with Hampton, Florida A&M University, Tuskegee, Clark Atlanta universities, Morehouse and Spelman colleges and North Carolina A&T.

Jones said that she wanted her dolls to promote inclusivity, higher learning and culture.

“As a former toy buyer, lifelong doll lover, and HBCU alum, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to share the magic of historically black colleges and universities,” Jones said.

The HBCU dolls are available online and in Target stores. They are also expanding to Walmart and Amazon in the coming weeks.
