The MOBO Awards recently returned for their first live event in four years.

The show focuses on awarding Music of Black Origin in the U.K. This year's MOBO awards were hosted by Little Mix member Leigh Anne Pinnock and comedian Munya Chawawa, marking the first ceremony since 2017.

Rapper Dave led the pack with five nominations in 2021, taking home Album of the Year for his acclaimed “We’re All Alone In This Together.” Little Simz won Best Female Act, while Ghetts won Best Male Act,marking the first MOBO wins of their career last night.

The awards show introduced its Best Drill Act category in 2021 to reflect the genre’s rising popularity. Central Cee was named its first winner and also took home Best Newcomer.

Steflon Don, Tems, and Bree Runway — just to name a few — took to the stage for head-turning performances at the event.
