As a follow-up to his 2019 album “Hollywood’s Bleeding,” Post Malone returns after nearly three years with “Twelve Carat Toothache.”  He intends to give further insight into the ups and downs of mainstream success with his latest effort.

In November 2021, Post Malone released his first single, “One Right Now,” featuring The Weeknd. While this was the first time the global pop stars collaborated, and despite their contrasting styles — the duo delivered a timeless pop classic.

Post Malone enlisted frequent collaborators Louis Bell, Andrew Bolooki and Brian Lee to help produce his fourth studio album. Bell revealed that the album sounds like a mix of “molten lava and fire” and “cyan blues and whites.”

The album also features performances by Doja Cat, Roddy Ricch, the recently incarcerated Gunna and more.

While Post Malone is famous for playing with the contrast between melancholic despair and club bangers, his new album promises more depth.

He made most of it during the height of the pandemic took steps out of his musical comfort zone to create some of the best music he’s ever made.

“Twelve Carat Toothache” is available through Mercury Records and Republic Records.
