SZA Finally Releases ‘Shirt’

SZA dropped a video on Instagram that appeared to be a music video. Fans did not have to guess what the footage was about because it included an infamous beat of an unreleased single that she has been teasing for two years.

Per Instagram comments, user @moonchild_89 recited part of the lyrics and commented “Kiss me dangerous!!! Finallyyy it just been almost a year,” and SZA responded and said, “I was waiting to have more than a single lol had to load the clip.”

The single “Shirt” was introduced as a snippet in 2020 on her IG story. The following year, some fans had become tired of streaming her debut album “CTRL” and were eager for new music. As a result, they made the unreleased track go viral by creating a trendy TikTok dance. She also included a snippet of the song in her music video for her latest single “Good Days.”

“Good Days” are ahead for her fans because SZA finally released “Shirt” on October 28, 2022, and the single is creating more attention on TikTok from her fans.

The video is out now and it features LaKeith Stanfield; it’s directed by Dave Meyers.
