Joshua Clayton tells the story of growing up in West Oakland, California. Joshua has been recognized with a national award for his radio commentary “There Are No Children in Oakland.”
He starts out this video version “Welcome to my hood,” inviting us to see his struggles in becoming a man and a role model to his younger cousin, while living amidst violence and poverty.
