You know the saying, “She gets it from her momma?” Well, former president Barack Obama confirms that his younger daughter, Sasha, takes more after the former first lady, Michelle, and he’s “afraid” of both.
During a recent appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show to promote his memoir, “A Promised Land,” Obama jokingly confirmed to Kimmel that he is scared of 19-year-old Sasha. She is a student at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
“Your wife, Michelle, told me that you are afraid of Sasha; is that true?,” Kimmel asked Obama.
The nation’s 44th president replied, “Yes. And the reason is because Sasha is a mini Michelle, and I’m afraid of Michelle, and Sasha, having seen that, has the same look and the same attitude. Malia is more like me temperamentally. We’re like the vegetarians—the gatherers, and they’re the hunters. We try to keep the peace with them.”
Malia, 22, is a student at Harvard University.
