Pastor Todd Apologizes for ‘Disgusting’ Spit Spread on Man’s Face

After a video of Pastor Mike Todd rubbing spit on a man’s face during a sermon went viral, Todd apologized, calling it disgusting. 

During the sermon at Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Todd spit in his hand and rubbed it on another person’s face. The man is said to be his brother and the pastor did this while noting the “vision from God might get nasty.” 

In an Instagram post, he said, “it’s never my intention to distract others from God’s Word and the message of Jesus…even with Illustrations. I apologize for my example being too extreme and disgusting!”
