Teenagers can have a reputation for rejecting family time... but when we asked our youth reporters here at Youth Radio how they wanted to celebrate this Mother's Day, they said they wanted to recreate classic childhood photos with their moms.

Oliver Riskin-Kutz and his mom recreated this photo in Lake Anza in Berkeley. The water was freezing, but they still had fun. "My dad came to take the picture. It was a nice family moment." Marie Sosa's mom was 16 years old when she had her. Now, Marie is 19 years old. She said she enjoyed recreating this photo with her mom. Sierra Fang-Horvath says recreating this touching staircase photo with her mom was "Good, and sad. A bittersweet moment because I don't fit sitting between her legs anymore."
