Introducing…Adult ISH

We are so excited about our new podcast Adult ISH, launched November 2nd.

It’s a first-of-its-kind culture and advice podcast produced entirely by people who are almost adults. Each week, hosts Nyge Turner (Oakland) and Merk Nguyen (Brooklyn), both 22, will dive deep into topics ranging from hip-hop to race to mental health and professional goals. Adult ISH features conversations with young and “young at heart” celebrities and influencers shaping our world.

“Adult ISH gave me a sense of ‘YASS, you get me!’ and we’re hoping it’ll do that for our listeners too,” explain co-host Merk Nguyen and Nyge Turner. “To be honest, we’re just trying to figure out how to play the adulting game like everyone else. And our show is the podcast party you really wanna be at.”

Love ISH — where we deep dive into all things love-related —  features Actor Percelle Ascott of Netflix’s The Innocents and Comedian Joel Kim Booster of Comedy Central and Conan fame.

Her ISH features actress Sydney Sweeney of The Handmaid’s Tale and Muslim-American Olympic medallist, Ibtihaj Muhammad. (And co-host Merk kicks Nyge off the show to chat about everything you didn’t realize you need to know about pelvic exams…)
