Michael B. Jordan makes his debut as a director with "Creed III," the first film in the saga without Sylvester Stallone. The film not only is action-packed but makes the decision to explore loyalty and the greatness of ideals in the sports world. Although it might seem like a maudlin approach, it's actually a subtle homage to the franchise from which it comes. The confrontation ends up being a fight of good versus evil, but no less emotional for that. It tells the story of athletes facing broken dreams, bitter rivalries and more.
