Today on Voluptuous Volume Radio we had our sixth show of the session! DJ Garcia, DJ DellyBo, and DJ Jalon-Doe played songs throughout the show chosen from their very own playlists. Aiden, Anthony and Joseph started us out with newscasts about a man who used martial arts to fend off robbers in a grocery store, violent graffiti on BART and Beyonce and Jay-Z donating money made from their On The Run Tour. Then there was a PSA by Rhana and Sarah about a foundation named Youth Spirit Art Works. There was a commentary by Elliot about his perspectives on teen driving and a PSA about fighting childhood obesity by Natalie and Allonte. Next, there was a commentary by Milan about plans for the future and applying to college and a commentary by Kofiae about finally meeting her sister.
Youth Radio Raw is a weekly radio show produced by Bay Area youth ages 14-18. Students work in partnership with adult professionals to learn the basics of journalism, music production and multimedia.
