Being born and raised in Oakland, there are positives and negatives about it. My bad out weigh the good, but can’t say that for everyone. I want to help and support Oakland by showing success so I can give back to my community. Since I came from that hood life, that hood girl, now I’m working hard to prove that I can go for my dreams. I know Oakland made me who I am but I will not let the bad memories have any say in my future.
