New Cozy Christmas Hits to Close Out the Holiday Season

California — We know the classic holiday movies, “Home Alone,” “Elf,” and “Love Actually,” but we need things to watch in between. The movies listed above are nostalgic, cozy hits but here are some new movies that can fill the gaps when the classics have been on repeat and maybe these will become new classics for you during the holiday season.
The newly released movie is about a man who wants to win his neighborhood home decor contest and gets the help of an elf. Starring actors like Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross, this movie is sure to be a hit and a fresh new watch to add to your holiday rotation.
The “Christmas Chronicles” is a two-parter about two siblings who find Santa Claus in their house. Starring Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russel, and Lamorne Morris, you’ll see some familiar faces in this new holiday movie.
The “Princess Switch” is a three-part series about a woman who meets her döppelganger who turns out to be royalty. Vannessa Hudgens plays three characters in this fun movie series filled with baking, drama and love.

A congressional aide misses Christmas to travel for work. She lands on an island’s Air Force Base and butts head with the captain. She then found out about his project, Operation Christmas Drop, an initiative to give kids of neighboring islands gifts, toys, and supplies to bring joy for their Christmas. Watch this movie to get a warm fuzzy feeling with this heartwarming story and put you in the giving spirit.
“Holidate”
Holidate is a classic rom-com about two singles in Chicago who are done with being alone for the holidays, especially when their families ask too many questions.
So once they find each other they decide to be platonic dates for holidays, but no more than that.

Starring Lindsay Lohan, this Christmas rom-com is a favorite among her fans. In this 2022 movie, Lohan plays a heiress who finds a handsome cabin widower after losing her memory after a skiing accident. Watch this movie if you’re looking for a fun romance with a familiar face in it.
