Throughout Megan Thee Stallion’s career, she has expressed her pure adoration for anime and Japanese culture. In April 2020, the stallion herself was invited by Tim Lyu to interview for the popular anime streaming service Crunchyroll, where she explains the birth of her anime obsession. Which stemmed from watching the Adult Swim channel and seeing “Inuyasha” when it first came out. Megan constantly mentions her love for the anime “My Hero Academia,” specifically characters like Kohei Horikoshi and how she relates to the protagonist– Midoriya Izuku.

In her recent album titled MEGAN, which dropped on June 28, not only was the hottie fan base drawn in, but the anime community has been eating songs like “Otaku Hot Girl” up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The artist got a voice actor – Kaiji Tang, who voiced Satoru Gojo from the popular anime Jujitsu Kaisen to introduce the song, where he mentioned his love for women like Grammy winner Megan The Stallion.

Fans from all over seem to be loving the album, specifically the trending song Mamushi featuring Japanese rapper and singer Yuki Chiba. Where she repeats, “I get money, I’m a star, star, star” in both English and Japanese. The song has gained coverage from fans all over the world. All of them are participating in the trending TikTok dance, which has been popularized for weeks due to Megan joining in and different TikTokers who’ve all shared their version of the dance. Incorporating different hand gestures and movements that have been seen in several different anime.
