Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are wanting to target Gen Zers in order to outflank the royal family.
PR expert Eric Schiffer said in an attempt to be seen as the “real royals, who care” they’ve turned to trying to “own the hearts and minds of Gen Z and millennials,” according to The News.com
“They are trying to do the work of what the Royal Family typically is about, which is about optimising (cq) society and helping to make society that much more uplifted in many ways. Whether that is emotional or culturally,” according to Shiffer.
A London journalist agreed, saying Gen Z appreciates and supports the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanting a life outside the space of the royal family, according to Express.
