Digital Blackface is everywhere on social media, from using Black people as reaction gifs, to co-opting Black slang, to a litany of TikTok sounds. This wouldn’t be as big of an issue if the credit was given to the proper people, but in the “For You Page” Era that’s looking less and less likely.
