Coming off his Super Bowl halftime performance, Usher was welcomed back to Atlanta by Amazon and Clark Atlanta University, with a $25,000 donation to his New Look Foundation, which has been helping youth in education for 25 years.
Usher has been a longtime supporter of HBCUs, and in his speech said, “When I’m dead and gone, these paved roads will mean so much more to so many people because of what this city produces. We open our arms to the world to come here and understand our culture, celebrate our historical Black colleges.”
