Hijabs, Burkinis and More: Explore the Diversity of Muslim Fashion

San Francisco, CATour the San Francisco de Young Museum's stunning Contemporary Muslim Fashions exhibit, with pieces ranging from a headscarf labeled "Feminist" to Nike sportswear. Sasha Shahinfar, a member of the de Young's Teen Advisory Board, gives an inside look at key garments, as well as exhibition galleries designed by Hariri & Hariri Architecture.

Pieces Shahinfar highlights include a "Feminist" headscarf by Nourka, a "US Constitution and First Amendment" flight jacket by Céline Semaan Vernon for Slow Factory, and a wedding ensemble by Shakeel's Boutique.

The Contemporary Muslim Fashions exhibit runs until Jan. 6, 2019.
