New shows and movies are here or coming your way soon, and some just in time for Spooky Season! 

Several shows are coming back for a second season, while Netflix is providing us with some new Halloween films that feature some of our favs. Check out the list below to see what you may want to stream next. 

“Chucky” Season 2

The Good Guy Doll also known as Chucky is back, just in time for spooky season. 

The classic horror movie staple now has a show that can be streamed on Syfy and USA Network. The second season premieres on Oct. 9. If you have not checked out season one, now is the time. 

“All American: Homecoming” Season 2

“All American: Homecoming,” the spin off of “All American,” is coming back to The CW on Oct. 10, and in the nick of time for homecoming season. The HBCU-based show has new episodes weekly, you can check out season one if you have not already on Netflix or The CW. 

“The Curse of Bridge Hollow” 

A Halloween movie, for the family, is coming! On Oct. 14, “The Curse of Bridge Hollow” debuts on Netflix. The fantasy movie stars Marlon Wayans and Kelly Rowland. Wayans, along with Priah Ferguson from “Stranger Things” are forced to team up and save their town after an ancient and mischievous spirit causes Halloween decorations to come to life and wreak havoc.

“Wendell & Wind”

Henry Selick, the director of the “Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Coraline” directs “Wendell & Wind,” a dark fantasy horror alongside Jordan Peele. In thi stop-motion film, a troubled teen is haunted by her past and  must confront her personal demons. The film has warned that it may awaken some childhood fears, make sure to check it out on Netflix on Oct. 28.

“Abbott Elementary” Season 2

School is back in session for “Abbott Elementary”, the second season recently premiered on ABC and Hulu. The award-winning show is looking forward to bringing on some surprise guest cameos along with some other surprises, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
