Washington, DCIn 2018 Beyoncé shocked the world with her Coachella (aka Beychella) performance as the first Black woman to headline the festival. The Queen shocked us all again when she released her Netflix documentary “Homecoming”, which depicted her creative process, struggles, and a multitude of clips from both performances. Through this film, Beyoncé was able to celebrate Black culture, Black history, and the importance of Black representation.

Since then Beyoncé has continued to wow and spoil the Beyhive with "The Lion King: The Gift, Black is King", etc. However, when she dropped her latest album Renaissance, went on The Renaissance World Tour, and announced that she would be releasing yet another film, she outdid herself one again. Now that the first official movie trailers for “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” are out, the people are beyond hyped.

TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms blew up with the news. Some creators simply shared their excitement for the film while others created memes and funny videos to display their thoughts.

Morgan Charles, a teen from Chicago, said, “The concert was probably the best live performance I’ve ever seen. From the choreo, to the visuals, to the music, everything was a 10/10 and I would definitely recommend seeing the movie if you didn’t go to the concert.” Charles’ words hit on what most everyone in pop culture has been feeling since Beyoncé broke the news.
